I’ll be honest, not the best weather for installing a raised bed in heavy clay. Pleased with the result tho and will look super when all planted up. A word of advice… don’t cut sleepers lengthways with a saw. 🫤

Spring is just round the corner. It’s a great time to tidy and mulch the garden. This little garden in Roundhay was a bit neglected but a few hours of graft, new edging and a couple of bags of compost later…. 👌

Happy New Year, people. Last year I was asked to build three compost bins for this client to manage waste from their large estate. They were built out of recycled pallets. As well as recycling all their waste and providing an important shelter for wildlife they now have loads of great compost for the borders. This has saved them hundreds of pounds in compost and countless trips to the tip. It will suppress weeds and feed the shrubs and flowers throughout 2025. What’s not to like! Want something similar? Give me a shout.
